At CSCN, we work with families to navigate and coordinate services and supports for children and youth with developmental disabilities and complex mental health needs. Whether it’s connecting to live-in intensive care, or multiple community-based programs, we’re here to make the process easier. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to the care and support they need to thrive, while providing families with the guidance they deserve.

Adults in Ontario with a Developmental Disability gain access to supports and services through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) agencies. These Supports and Services are funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCSS). There are nine DSO agencies across the province, including Developmental Services Ontario - South West Region (DSO-SWR), which is part of CSCN.
The Passport Program supports adults with developmental disabilities to get involved in their community and live more independently. It reimburses families and individuals for things like daily living support, personal planning, and participation in community activities. The program also helps cover the cost of respite services, giving caregivers important breaks. This approach allows families to choose the services that work best for them and get the support they need.
